People & Partners

Oak was initially launched by more than 40 teachers and colleagues from education organisations in April 2020. Since then, we’ve worked with 300 more teachers to create lessons for every pupil, from EYFS to Year 11 and those in specialist settings.

We work with a diverse range of schools, trusts, subject associations and national centres of expertise to select teachers and produce our lessons and resources.

Our curriculum has been designed with subject experts to  develop high quality lessons, in the most popular topics, to match as many schools’ curricula as possible.

Oak would not be possible without the brilliant work of our technology and communications partners who’ve supported our launch and helped us reach millions of teachers, parents and pupils.

Our team

Behind Oak is a dedicated staff team and Board who are committed to making sure every pupil can access a high quality education. Our day to day work is overseen by our leadership team.
