I was just singing happy birthday to my friend, Susan.

It's her birthday today.

Can you say, "Happy birthday, Susan?" Oh wow, Susan, everybody's saying, "Happy birthday." Susan is six years old today.

I've got a question for you.

If Susan is six years old today, how old will she be on her next birthday next year? How old will Susan be on her birthday next year? Do you know the answer? Shout it out to the screen if you do.

Wow, I can hear lots of people shouting out the answer.

Let's have a look and see how we can work it out.

We can use a number line to help us.

To find out how old she'll be on her next birthday one year later, we've got to do one jump.

You would need a number grid up to 20, looks a little bit like this.

And you will also need a small toy car to put on top of your numbers.

If you don't have a toy car, that's absolutely fine.

You can use another small object that you have in your home.

Oh, Reggie says he's going to play a game called park the car.

Reggie's going to park the car on a number and you're going to have to use the clues to guess what number the car is parked on.

Close your eyes.

Open your eyes now, the car has been parked.

What number is the car parked on? Do you know? Shout the answer out to the screen if you do.

Reggie's going to give us a clue.

You can play this at home too.

You can put your number grid in front of you, like this, and ask an adult to put your toy car, or your other object, onto a number.

You can then ask your adult to give you a clue for you to work out where your toy car or your object is parked.

Have a go at doing that.
