Hello everyone, it's Miss Doherty.

Today, we're going to step and speak a recount.

That means we'll be adding actions to help us learn it.

In this lesson, you will need an exercise book or paper, a pencil, and of course your brain.

You can pause the video now, while you go and get all of those items. We're going to start today's lesson by singing a nursery rhyme.

Then we'll step the piece.

That means we'll add actions to each section, which will help us remember the piece.

And we'll finish with a drawing challenge.

I hope you're ready.

Are you ready to sing together? If you haven't heard this nursery rhyme before, because you weren't in earlier lessons, don't worry.

You can listen the first time and join in the second.

♪ A sailor went to sea sea sea ♪ ♪ to see what he could see see see ♪ ♪ But all that he could see see see ♪ ♪ was the bottom of the deep blue sea sea sea ♪ Let's try that together.

♪ A sailor went to sea sea sea ♪ ♪ to see what he could see see see ♪ ♪ But all that he could see see see ♪ ♪ was the bottom of the deep blue sea sea sea.

♪ On my screen is a picture that I drew in our last lesson.

After we had sang, the sailor went to sea sea sea.

I was trying to imagine what the sea might look like.

I was remembering some parts of the sea I've seen.

I was also thinking about things that I've read or watched or heard.

And that's how I drew this picture of the sea.

Now today, I'd like us to add some labels to our pictures.

So you might have your picture from lesson two.

If you were in lesson two and if not, that's okay.

You can write down the words that match my picture.

The first word I would like you to write is fin because we can see a shark's fin.

Let's say the word fin.

Robot, the word f-i-n, fin.

Write the word.

Fin, I've written fin.

What should we write next? How about fish? Say the word, fish.

F-i-s-h or starfish, mmmh starfish.

S-t-a-r-f-i-s-h, starfish.

Pause the video and have a go at writing down some labels for either your picture from lesson two or my picture on the screen.

Let's add some actions.

I'm going to be looking at my map.

You might have your map to look at, or you might need to use mine on the screen.

I came home one day, walking through the deep green forest.

What could we have for forest? We could make a tree, walking through the deep green forest until I came to my little cottage right in the middle.

As we walked, we sang ♪ We're three bears three bears ♪ ♪ living in a cottage in the woods ♪ ♪ Three bears three bears ♪ ♪ living here together.

♪ ♪ Feels so good.

♪ I lived there with my daddy, my mommy.

I am baby bear.

And we love each other, very much.

On this terrible day.

We lifted the latch and went into the cottage.

As soon as I came into our little kitchen, the sun was streaming through the window.

And to my horror, I saw that my porridge had been eaten! Daddy's bowl was there full of porridge and mommy's bowl was full of porridge, but my bowl was empty! Someone had eaten all the porridge from it.

When mommy and daddy looked closer, they realised a mouthful had been taken out of their bows too.

How bizarre, they went over to their bowls.

Someone's been eating my porridge, roared my daddy! Someone's been eating my porridge, shouted my mummy! Someone's been eating my porridge and they've eaten it all up! And I began to cry.

We walked through the hallway into the living room where we each have our very own chairs.

A big one for daddy, a medium size one for mommy and a perfect baby size one for me.

Someone's been sitting in my chair, roared daddy! Someone's been sitting in my chair, shouted my mommy! Someone's been sitting in my chair and it's fallen to pieces! I started to cry again.

Finally, we walked upstairs to the bedroom.

Someone's been sleeping in my bed, roared my daddy! Someone's been sleeping in my bed, shouted my mommy! Someone's been sleeping in my bed, and she's still there! All three of us roared, growl.

and a little girl with golden hair, jumped up out of my bed and left straight out of the window.

And we haven't seen her since.

Now, let's add the actions by stepping.

So we're all going to stand up and step them.

I'm going to do the first two sections and then, it will be your turn.

I came home one day walking through the dark green forest, until I came to my little it cottage right in the middle.

Remember, you can take a step forward or if you don't have enough room, you can step on the spot, like I did.
