This unit introduces introduces relative clauses in the nominative cases, as well as the indefinite pronouns 'jemand' and 'niemand'. Pupils also learn to embed (non-defining) relative clauses within main clauses and revisit adjective endings with indefinite articles.

Family experiences: relative clauses

The German noun 'Wert' means 'worth'. Write the German for the adjective 'worthless'.

Order the words to say: 'That is the lady who lives here.'

Write in German: 'the room that is light'.

Order the words to say: 'a thin mouth and a thin nose'.

Write in English: 'seine Stimme war laut'.

Write in German: 'there is a round table'.
