Hi everyone, my name is Mr. Palekar, and welcome back to percussion lessons! This is our lesson on Body Percussion number two.

In today's lesson, we are going to recap Boom Snap Clap.

We are going to develop our body percussion skills and actions.

And we are going to complete the body percussion piece called "Africa".

Now for today's lesson, you will need some headphones, if you have some, but if you don't don't panic.

Just make sure that you are somewhere quiet where you can concentrate and you won't be disturbed.

You're going to need a pencil and paper, if you would like to take any notes.

And you are going to need your hands, and your bodies.

Because, after all, we are doing body percussion.

Let's get started with: Boom Snap Clap.

Now just a reminder form last lesson, we start with a chant and then we bring in some actions.

It sounds a little bit like this.

♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom, snap clap snap ♪ ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom, snap shh ♪ ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom, snap clap snap ♪ ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom, snap shh ♪ And the actions are: ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom snap clap snap ♪ ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom, snap shh ♪ ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom snap clap snap ♪ ♪ Boom snap clap ♪ ♪ Boom boom, snap shh ♪ Let's break it down.
