In this unit, pupils will build and apply to sentence contexts their understanding of determiners and a variety of fronted adverbials.  

In this unit, pupils review previous learning about articles and possessive pronouns and they learn two new determiners: quantifiers and demonstratives. They review that fronted adverbials can be single words, phrases or clauses and that any fronted adverbial gives detail of time, place or manner.
