In this unit pupils will explain the relationship between multiples of 3 and multiples of 9 and use it to solve problems.  In the future unit pupils will represent counting in sevens as the 7x table explaining the relationship between adjacent multiples of 7 and knowledge of the 7x table to solve problems

They used known facts from the 10x table to solve problems involving the 9x table.  In this unit pupils will explain the relationship between multiples of 3 and multiples of 9 and use it to solve problems.
