- ♪ Hello, hello, hello, are you ready to play ♪ ♪ Hello, hello, hello ♪ ♪ Are you ready to sing and dance with me today ♪ ♪ Hello, hello, hello, are you ready to play ♪ ♪ Hello everyone ♪ ♪ Hello Mrs. Wright ♪ Hello friends.

It's great to see you again.

My name is Mrs. Wright and ♪ This is music time ♪ In today's music time, we're going to be going on a really exciting journey all the way to India.

We're going to be riding on some different types of trains.

We're going to start off as always by getting moving.

We're going to discover lots of different styles of travelling.

Then we're going to learn a new rhyme all about a train.

Then we're going to finish by learning an Indian counting out game.

In today's music time, you will need your singing voice, your listening ears and your i-i-i-imagination.

Right then friends, shall we get ready to go on our journey? Have you got your shoes? Have you got your bag? Have you got your hat? All right, lets get our walking feet ready.

Lets get our walking feet ready.

♪ Can you make your feet move in time to my beat ♪ ♪ This is the way we walk down the street ♪ ♪ Walk down the street, walk down the street ♪ ♪ This is the way we walk down the street ♪ ♪ When we go on a journey ♪ Show me your feet, everybody.

Let's stamp them nice and loudly.

♪ Stamp, stamp, stamp ♪ ♪ One more time ♪ ♪ This is the way we walk down the street ♪ ♪ Walk down the street, walk down the street ♪ ♪ This is the way we walk down the street ♪ ♪ When we go on a journey ♪ Okay, everybody.

Time to start running.

♪ This is the way we run down the street ♪ ♪ Run down the street, run down the street ♪ ♪ This is the way we run down the street ♪ ♪ When we go on a journey ♪ Phew.

There's one final sound that a train makes when it gets to the station, it goes like this.

Choo choo.

Can you all get ready? Choo choo.

Okay, let's try it one more time.

We're going to go all the way around in a circle.

If you want to learn even more and try it with some different actions, why don't you pause the video now? You can maybe play it with someone in your family or if you're with some friends, if you've got other people around you, you can all make a big circle like you're going 'round and 'round a railway track.

Now it's time to use our i-i-i-imagination and go to a faraway place where there are loads and loads of trains.

It's probably the best place in the world to get on a train and that country is India.

Has anybody been to India? It's very, very far away.

Maybe some of you have families who come from India.

Are you ready to play this special game? This is a fun game that lots of Indian children play and it's a game where we count around in a circle and the person that we land on at the end of the rhyme is out of the game.

The first thing we'll do is learn how to say the rhyme.

Some of the words are English and some of the words are in Hindi.

That's one of the many languages of India.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ Let me show you how it works.

I'm going to count 'round my circle with my shaky egg and the person that the egg lands on is going to be out the game.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ It was my giraffe.

Don't worry giraffe, that was just a practise.

Let's learn the rhyme all together.

The first part goes like this.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ Very good, this is the hard bit.

Listen carefully.

♪ Khelna hai ♪ ♪ Khelna hai ♪ ♪ Toh khelo ♪ ♪ Toh khelo ♪ ♪ Khelna hai ♪ ♪ Khelna hai ♪ ♪ Toh khelo ♪ ♪ Toh khelo ♪ Then we say "varna." ♪ Varna get out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ "Khelna hai toh khelo varna get out" just means "Play if you want to, otherwise get out." If you find the Hindi too hard, maybe you could say it in English.

But let's use Hindi this time because I like a challenge.

Okay, let's play with all my friends.

We've got Teddy, we've got the singing spoon and then we've got some of my other puppet friends.

Giraffe, monkey and the tiger and I'm going to play as well.

Okay, start with me.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ Uh-oh, singing spoon.

Singing spoon is out.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ Get out mister tiger, sorry, you're out the game.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ Oh no, Teddy.

Teddy's now out the game.

It's just me and monkey and giraffe.

♪ In pin safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna, get out ♪ Monkey, you're out the game.

Sorry, monkey.

So it's just me and the giraffe.

Maybe you'd like to use your pointing finger and you can point to me, then the giraffe, then me, then the giraffe.

♪ Let's try, off we go ♪ ♪ In pin, safety pin ♪ ♪ In pin out ♪ ♪ Khelna hai toh khelo ♪ ♪ Varna get out ♪ I won the game.

I didn't mean to make myself win, sorry.

We can maybe try another time.

You could pause the video and go and get all your toys, put them in a circle and play this game with them or maybe you'd like to play this game with some members of your family or some friends.

If you find the words really hard, you can just skip back in the video and learn them nice and slowly.

Well done, everybody.

You've been so super in today's music time.

I loved all the different ways you were using your feet for the different types of travel and the different types of movement in our first game.

We did walking, running and chugga chugga in the train.

Then we learned a new rhyme all about engine, engine number nine and finally we played a new game, a counting out game called In Pin Safety Pin.

I hope you had fun playing the game.

Don't forget, if you'd like to share your work with any of your teachers at school or your friends and family, you could maybe send them a photo or a video of your musical learning and if there's an adult in your house who would like to post something on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, they could tag @OakNational or put a #LearnwithOak.
