Hello everyone, welcome back.

Today we have another really fun lesson, it's called my face in nature.

Let's see what we need for our lesson today.

The first thing you're going to need is your resources, that you collected from outside.

Your sticks and your leaves and things like that.

You need to make sure you've got your box of thing that you found outside on your daily walks.

Then, we're going to look at some instructions on how to make our face in nature.

Then you're going to make your face and then you can make your friend's face.

am going to make Mrs Bunny's face today or you could make someone in your houses face or you could make your teacher's face maybe.

And you can compare your faces.

We'll find out a little bit more about what that means later on.

To make sure that you've got enough space to make your face.

I'm going to use the top of my desk but you might like to use some space on the floor, or some space on your table, you just need to make sure that you put down some newspaper or something to keep your table clean if you're going to do it on the table.

Get your box, and let's see.

Have you got some leaves in there? I've got some old leaves and I've got a few green leaves as well.

Green leaves in my box as well.

Have you got some sticks? I've got some sticks, yeah and I've also got some old dry grass that I found out on my walk.

And there are some green grass in here as well.

So I collected some extra things too.

And have you got some stones? You might have some extra things in your box that you found on your walk.

You might have some petals or you might have some pine corns or some old acorns or something like that.

You might have some really exciting things to make your face with today.

Let's go through our star words.

Ready? Star words! Appearance! Your turn.

Appearance! Can you remember what that means from Wednesdays lesson? Your appearance is what you look like.

Your face shape, your hair, your eye colour.

These all make up your appearance.

And the next star word is, Compare! Your turn.

Compare! To compare is to see if something is the same or if they're different.

I have one brown leaf here and another brown here.

These two leaves are the same, they are both from the same tree but if I compare my leaf with my stone, I can see that they are different.

My leaf is soft and very light but my stone is heavy and hard.

They are different when I compare them.

Let's get on to creating our faces.

The first thing you are going to want to do, when you are creating your face, is to gather all of your outdoor items. Make sure that you've got them all in your box next to you.

And you can see in the video that, am picking off all of the leaves, so that I can use the sticks to make my face shape.

Okay, number two, you are going to make your face shape.

I'm using sticks and remember I have a round face, I'm trying to do a circle with my sticks, to make my face shape but you might have a different face shape.

You might try and create a different shape with yours and you don't have to use sticks, you could use grass to make your face shape or you could use stones or you could use pine corns, anything that you've got in your box, it's up to you.

There we go, I've made my face shape and am going to add my hair.

Now, am adding my hair using leaves from my box.

I've chosen to use brown leaves that are a bit old because my hair is brown but if you have blonde hair, you might choose to use some yellow leaves or if you can't find your hair colour in leaves, it doesn't matter, you can choose to have a different hair colour, you might choose some green leaves, that would be fun.

Create you hair, next, am adding all my leaves there.

And am making sure that they go down past my chin because my hair goes down past my chin.

I have long hair but your hair might only be on the top of your face, if you've got short hair.

Pause the video and make sure that you've got your outdoor items, you've made your face shape and you've added your hair.

And come back when you are ready to do the next part.

Welcome back everyone! Now its time to add your eyes.

I couldn't find anything blue outside on my walk, I've chosen some green leaves to do my eyes but you could use stones or you could use little pine corns or something like that, anything you like from your nature box.

And they don't have to be the right colour.

You're going to add your eyes, then you're going to add your nose and the last thing you're going to do is add your mouth.

Mine is having a big smile because I was feeling happy that day but you might have a different mouth if you are feeling sad or angry or excited.

Okay, we're going to add your eyes, add your nose and add your mouth and then come back and press play when you're finished.

Well done everyone! Now, you've made your own face, I want you to leave it, don't ruin your face but see if you've got enough things in your box to make your friend's face or somebody in your households face or even a toy's face.

Look.

I made Mrs Bunny's face here.

Whose face are you going to make? It's completely up to you.

Can you remember what they look like? And try and make their face or you could use a toy to help you.

My Bunny has quite a round face as well, I've done a round face in the grass and my Bunny has fur all over her face, so I put grass all over her face because she is very furry.

And she's got two pointy ears that I made with some leaves.

And then I used to little bits of mud for her eyes and her nose and mouth are quite different to mine.

I used two little sticks for hers instead of stones.

But you can use whatever you like to make your face.

Pause the video here and make your friend, your family member or your toy's face.

Press play when you are finished.

Great job everyone! Now, it's time to compare your faces.

You can see that I made my face and then I made Mrs Bunny's face right next to mine, so that I could see if they were the same or different.

What do you think Mrs Bunny are they the same? She say, "no, we look very different." Look, I don't have any fur on my face, we different because you've got fur on your face and you've got big pointy ears but I have little ears on the side of my head.

Should we have a look at what else is same or different about us? What is the same about your appearance? What's the same about your appearance? With the faces that you made? Let's go back to the picture and see Mrs Bunny.

There's not much that's the same but we both have round faces.

She says, "yes we do." We both have eyes and we both have ears.

So we are the same in some ways, what about, what is different about our appearance? Now, we've already said some of them them.

Should we go back and have another look? Wow, we said that Bunny has big ears on the top of her head and I don't have them.

We have different ears.

She says, "yes we do." And, we've got very different noses, look mine is in the middle of my face like this and it's a round nose but you have little lines on your face for your nose and mouth.

You've got sticks, we have different noses.

She is saying, "yes we do." Great job, can you have a look at your faces and tell your toy or your family member, what's the same about your faces and what's different.

Great job everyone! And I'll see you next week.
