Today, we're going to be getting out and about in our neighbourhood.

We're going to discover all of the different places around where we live and meet some of the very interesting people that live close to us.

Shall we get ready? Let me tell you what we're going to do today.

We're going to start off by going for a walk down our street.

Then we're going to meet people who live near us.

And finally, we're going to try and work out where we're going by looking at the sign post.

You will need your singing voice, your listening ears, your body so you can move around with plenty of space.

♪ This is music time ♪ Can you try that for me, everybody? Let's touch your heads and our shoulders while we sing ♪ High and low ♪ ♪ Off we go ♪ ♪ This is music time ♪ ♪ It's time to sing a song ♪ ♪ It's time to sing a song ♪ ♪ It's time to sing a song ♪ ♪ This is music time ♪ ♪ It's time to sing a song ♪ Right then, friends, what else do we do in music time? Cachoo, cachoo.

And get your bag ready to go.

Maybe put on a coat 'cause it's a bit chilly today.

And we're going to go for a walk.

Walk, walk, walk.

♪ This is the way we walk down the street ♪ ♪ Walk down the street ♪ ♪ Walk down the street ♪ ♪ This is the way we walk down the street ♪ ♪ When we're out and about ♪ Okay, everybody we're out and about in our neighbourhood.

♪ We're out and about in the neighbourhood ♪ ♪ The neighbourhood, the neighbourhood ♪ ♪ We're out and about in the neighbourhood ♪ ♪ All together now ♪ Now, let's do some running.

Do you know any of your neighbours? I wonder.

Do any of them do anything interesting for a job? I've got some friends on my street.

Would you like to meet them? There are three friends I'm going to introduce to you today.

Can you listen out to hear what their job is? ♪ Do you know the taxi driver ♪ ♪ Do you know the taxi driver ♪ ♪ I think I do, I think I do ♪ ♪ He lives on my street ♪ Did you hear? That's right.

I live very close to a taxi driver.

I wonder.

This time, when I do my thinking face.

♪ I think I do, I think I do ♪ Can you join in with the singing? ♪ I think I do, I think I do ♪ And do your thinking face.

Here we go! Can you listen for the other job this time? ♪ Do you know the teacher ♪ ♪ Do you know the teacher ♪ ♪ I think I do, I think I do ♪ ♪ They live on my street ♪ Did you hear what job that neighbour had? That's right! They're a teacher.

This time maybe you could join in with the end of my song.

It goes like this.

♪ They live on my street ♪ Ready, off you go.

♪ They live on my street ♪ Together, off we go.

♪ They live on my street ♪ ♪ Do you know the vet ♪ ♪ Do you know the vet ♪ ♪ I think I do, I think I do ♪ ♪ They live on my street ♪ Great joining in, everybody.

The last bit we're going to learn together goes like this.

♪ Do you know the ♪ And then we're going to sing a job.

What do you think we should do this time? We had a taxi driver, and a teacher.

What should we have next? Let's have a shopkeeper! That would be good.

♪ Do you know a shopkeeper ♪ ♪ Do you know a shopkeeper ♪ ♪ I think I do, I think I do ♪ ♪ They live on my street ♪ Brilliant! I think you learned the whole song.

Right then, it's time for you to think of something.

Can you think about somebody who lives on your street, or maybe somebody who lives in your block of flats? Or maybe you live somewhere in the middle of the countryside and you don't have any neighbours.

But maybe there's somebody in your village that you know.

Hmm, let's have a think.

Do you know what job they do? Do they have a job? Could you fill in my little gap this time and say ♪ Do you know the hmm-hmm.

♪ And you're going to fill in with the job of your neighbour.

If you'd like to pause the video, you can sing this song again, and you can add in different jobs.

Let's follow the sign post.

Shall we see what it says? We're going to go to oh, there's no name on there.

Maybe you can tell me where shall we go today? Can you think of a place name to go? Maybe we could go to town, or we could go to a city.

Where shall we go? I'd really like to go to London.

Is that okay? We're going to go up and down.

It could be a town or a city.

Now, I've chosen two cities, but I still used the word town.

We always use the word town in the song because it rhymes with down, okay? So it doesn't matter if you choose a city or a village, or a town, somewhere big or somewhere small, you still use the word town.

Maybe you'd like to use the place where you live, or maybe you'd like to choose the place where you love to visit.

But don't forget you always stretch up ♪ High when we're singing a ♪ ♪ High note ♪ ♪ And you stretch down low ♪ ♪ When we're singing a low note ♪ Well done, everybody! What a great music time we've had today.

Can you remember what we started with? We started off with a walk down the street.

Can you remember which different footsteps you did? Then we met all the different neighbours with their different jobs.
