I'm Ms. Boyd and I'll be your music teacher today.

In today's lesson, you're going to follow and respond to musical signals.

You going to experiment with different types of movement in music, and you going to practise singing a variety of rhythmic patterns.

Would you like to come with me? Okay, we're going to sing this song to get ready to go into space.

Can you stand up for me? Fantastic.

You are going to be our space astronauts.

I would like you to get ready.

And as you sing this song, you going to put on your space suit and your space hat, and you going to get ready to go cause we're going into space.

Now that you've got your space suit on and your space boots ready, there's only one thing you need now, your helmet.

For this next activity, I would like you to close your eyes and turn your ears on.

We're going to listen to some special music and that music is going to take us all the way into space.

With your eyes closed, I want you to tell me and think about what you can hear on your way to space.

Are you ready? Eyes closed.

Wow! What did you hear? Yeah, it sounded like we were going somewhere.

Like our space rocket was about to go somewhere.

Let listen to that music again.

This time it's going to send us into space.

Keep listening, but I'd like you to open your eyes this time.

What can you see in space? Can you see the stars? Can you see the planets? I can see the moon.

I can see the Milky Way.

Whoop! I had a lot there and I saw a lot there too.

Did you? Fantastic! Well, welcome to space.

Now, there's loads of places you can visit when you're in space, but I really want to visit the moon today.

Will you come with me? Great.

We going to sing a song about going to the moon.

And this one has got lots of actions.

Are you ready to follow me? Whenever I go like this? It's my turn to sing.

And when I go like that, I would love you to join in and sing with me.

Are you ready? I think we should have some actions for this song too.

The first part of this song says, we're going to the moon.

We're going to wash our space rockets all the way to the moon.

Now we've gone to space and there were some robots in space but they walk a bit different.

So the song is exactly the same except instead of astronauts, we've now got robots.

We've just found some robots in space and this is what they're doing.

Some aliens, of course.

Now, these aliens are really, really strange.

They say, Ti-Ti, Ti-Ti, Ti-Ti, Ti-Ti.

And I think that's the sound they make when they're wandering around space looking for someone else to play with.

Let's add them to our song.
