Are you excited? 'Cause we're going to the woods again today.

We're starting off retracing our footsteps and seeing if we can find if anyone else has been in the woods.

Then we're going to visit the old man in the cottage.

And finally, we're going to find our way back to the little birch tree.

You will need your singing voice, your imagination, and your listening ears.

Right then, everybody.

Shall we go walking? Ready, steady, off we go.

I think it must be the old man.

He can't walk very fast and he's been walking to his cottage.

So let's walk very slowly.

Whose are the tiny little footsteps? I think it was the songbird.

It's not the little bird.

It's not the old man.

It's the fox.

The fox walks like this, off we go.

♪ Walking with the fox ♪ ♪ Walking with the fox in the woods ♪ Yeah, we're strutting along with that fox.

I think the little old man in the wood really likes rescuing animals so the nasty farmer doesn't bop them all on the head.

What other animals do you think we might find in the wood? We might see a rabbit.

A fox.

What action shall we do for fox? It looks a bit like a rabbit as well.

Let's do ears again.

More like pointy ears.

I wonder if any other animals will go hopping or running by.

What other animals might we see in the woods? Foxes? Rabbits? Maybe a little bird.

Okay, this last time we do it you can choose any animal you like, or it might be a bird.

I'll do this when it's your turn to sing your animal.

I think I'm going to play it with my teddies.

I'm definitely going to play it with my owl teddy because I think that there needs to be an owl in the story somewhere.

Maybe you can go and get some of your toys and play it with your toys, or you might like to sing the song with a friend or a member of your family.

Because I can hear the wind blowing in the branches of the birch trees.

Can you? I think you're using your imagination really well today.

The wind in the branches sounds just like.

I love the way you were using your make believe for the different noises.

I really felt like I was in the woods with you then.

Maybe you'd like to pause the video and sing the song again about the little birch tree.

And you can think of lots of different ways that the branches are making sound in the wind.

And don't forget to use your body to dance around in the wind just like the silver birch tree.

Well friends, that's all we've got time for today.

Shall we have a little think over what we've done? First of all, we found some very interesting paw prints in the woodland floor.

Can you remember who we saw? The old man, the fox, and the little bird.

Then we visited the old man in his cottage and saw all the animals that he's rescued.

And finally, we sang the song about the little birch tree.
