Hello, I'm Adam And this is Panda.

We are on unit 4, lesson 7 using the story, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff.

Let's see, what's on the agenda today.

We're going to start with a warmup describing the new characters that we created in the last lesson.

So Panda and I will give you some word clues or you're going to have to work out, which of the characters they describe for the main part of the lesson.

We then going to be working on how to describe the Dragon and how to tell the new story.

So all your need for the session is a piece of paper and a pencil later on, when you draw your favourite moments of the news story.

Right under the warmup.

We're over here, Panda and I can you see us? Okay? There's a blue screen at the moment, but Panda and I, we going to give you some clues or we'd like you to try and guess who the character is going to be there.

A character from our new story, the story we've changed from 'The 3 Billy Goats Gruff'.

Okay.

Are you ready? The first character was once a Billy goat, but is now a Fancy Frilly Billy Goat.

And he likes wearing fancy hats.

Can you remember which Billy goat, this one was in the other story, the little one you're right.

So now we've got a little Fancy Frilly Billy goats and he likes wearing hats.

Next one.

The next Fancy Frilly Billy goat is as clever as a kitten.

Now, though, in the new story, likes to wear fancy frilly frocks.

Can you remember which one it was? It's the middle-sized Billy goats, who is now a Fancy Frilly, but he goats who likes wearing purple and pink frocks.

I like this story.

The big one, the big Fancy Frilly Billy goat.

Can you remember what he likes to wear? Fancy frilly scarfs.

So now we've got the three Fancy Frilly Billy goats, but there's another character now, do you remember? We had a big bad troll in big, bad eyes.

The size of when he got pies.

Well that's changed now because we've recycled the idea and we've got another scary creature.

This creature has wings, likes gold and shiny things.

Can you remember? It's a She, Its the dragon who lives under the bridge and she won't let to the Fancy Frilly goats cross.

So our story map, is starting to look a bit now like this, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff are now 3 fancy frilly goats, and they don't want to go near the grass.

On the other side of the Hill, they want to go shopping.

They want to go to the shops, but to get to the shops, they've got to go over the bridge.

And under the bridge lives the dragon And Panda thought perhaps we could call it ''The Tinsel Town Dragon'', cause you'd like shiny things and Tinsel is shiny, like you get it at Christmas.

So.

We've got to find a way of tricking her.

So we were talking about, The little Fancy Frilly goat using the hat as a trick and the middle-size Billy goat using her fancy frilly frock as a trick and the big one using his Fancy Frilly scarf as a trick.

But we won't need to make those things funny in this story.

And finally, The Tinsel Town Dragon.

who's a bit lonely has no friends wants to go shopping with the 3 Fancy Frilly goats fluff.

So that's where we are at the moment.

But I think now we need to work on how we describe the Tinseltown dragon.

Let's do that now.

So do you remember when we described the big, bad troll, we described him like this, the big, bad troll had big, bad eyes.

His eyes were the size of Billy goat pies.

His teeth was sharp, the colour of custard, and he liked to eat Billy goats with dollops of mustard.

So we learned how to say that.

And he really helped with the storytelling because it made the troll sound like a bit scary and we want it to be a big problem in the story.

So we need to make this tinsel town dragon sound scary.

in the story scary.

So we know that she likes gold.

And she likes sparkly things, which is why she wants to go shopping.

So how about something like, the tinsel town dragon was shiny and bright.

She razzled and dazzled with a bright blinding light.

She loved sparkly diamonds and she wore lots of gold and she ate Frilly Billy goats, hot, warm, or cold, which I like to try that with me because if we learn it, it will really help with our storytelling.

And it'll be a good way to describe the dragon.

The Tinseltown dragon was shiny and bright.

I have to say that The Tinseltown dragon was shiny and bright.

She razzled and she dazzled with a blinding, bright light.

She razzled and she dazzled with a blinding, bright light.

I love those words.

Razzled and dazzled.

She loved sparkly diamonds, and she wore lots of gold can you try that.

she loved a sparkly diamonds and she wore lots of gold and she ate frilly.

Billy goats, hot, warm, or cold.

And she ate frilly.

Billy goats, hot, warm, or cold.

We'll practise that some more because I think that might make our storytelling, really exciting.

If he managed to describe the dragon like that, I'm going to have a go now at telling this new story for the very first time.

That's how I get on it's story time.

It's story time.

Look, listen.

Learn.

Once upon a time, there were three fancy frilly goats who lived on the side of a hill.

The smallest Billy goat likes to were fancy hats.

The second fancy frilly, billy goats , liked to wear fancy frilly frocks, and the big fancy frilly billy goat, like to wear fancy accessories like scarfs, the shops though on their side of the Hill, were as dull as mud.

Whereas the shops on the other side of the river, were fun and fancy free.

The problem was getting to the shops.

The three Billy goats would have to cross the bridge.

It wasn't the bridge.

That was the problem.

It was the dragon who lived under the bridge.

She was the problem.

The tinsel town dragon was shiny and bright.

She razzled and dazzled a bright blinding light.

She loved to wear diamonds and wear lots of gold.

And she ate frilly billy goats, `hot, warm, or cold.

The billy goats needed a plan and it was the clever middle-sized frilly Billy goat, who came up with a plan.

''I've got it''.

He said, one morning, ''come here, brothers''.

And he whispered he's very clever plan.

It started with the little frilly, Billy goat's, going down to the bridge ♪ I'm just a little frilly billy goat, going to the bridge.

♪ ♪ A little frilly Billy goat going to the bridge.

♪ He cross the bridge with a skip.

He went trip, trap trapping, trip trap trip, the tinsel town dragon leapt out.

We are told as you shouted , ''I'll eat you up hot, warm or cold''.

''Don't eat me'' said the frilly Billy goats.

''Try this hat on.

You'll love it.

It's fun and free''.

And throw it in the air and the dragon grabbed it quick.

She puts it on the hat.

Didn't fit.

It doesn't fit.

So the dragon, ♪ I'm just a middle size billy goat, trotting to the bridge ♪ ♪ a frilly billy goat I'm going to the bridge ♪ ♪ I'm a middle-sized frilly goat going to the bridge ♪ ♪ A middle of size freely goat.

♪ The middle-sized frilly billy goats crossed the bridge double quick.

The dragon was quick.

She grabbed the frock and put it on quick.

But the dress not fit.

So the dragon.

''I can't get this dress to fit me'' by then.

The big frilly billy goats was already coming.

♪ I'm a great big billy goat with a fancy frilly coat.

♪ ♪ I'm a great big billy goat.

''' Said the big Billy goat ''try on my fancy frilly scarf'' and he in the air.

The dragon grabbed it quick.

She tried to put it on, but the scarf didn't fit.

''Oh, nothing fits me,''' said the dragon.

When she saw the fancy frilly, Billy goats, trotting to the shops, she called, ''please, can I come too?'' You see the tinsel town dragon had no friends and she really wanted to go shopping.

And so the three fancy frilly Billy goat said'' yes.

'' And they all went to the shops together ♪ The fancy frilly Billy goats are going to the shops.

♪ ♪ the fancy frilly billy goats going to the shops.

♪ ♪ We are fancy frilly billy goats, and we going to the shops ♪ and we are going with the fancy frilly dragon.

And that was the end of that.

And that's our new story.

A story that's never been told before.

That's the first time I've told that story.

Panda was listening to that.

Did I do all right, Panda? She said not bad for a first try.

What were your favourite moments in that story? What were yours Panda? She liked it.

When the dragon tried to put the dress on the frock, what was your favourite moment? Choose a fancy, freely silly moment from that story and draw it.

And when you're finished, come back and we'll talk about this new story some more.

Time to work.

So how was that? We wonder what your favourite moments of the story were.

Remember, you can share your work with us here at the Oak Academy, in all kinds of ways, ask your carers, your teachers.

And they will know what to do.

because we love to see it.

Well, what have we done today? We paid a word game where we described the three fancy frilly Billy goats.

We also described the tinsel town dragon.

So we've learned those ways of describing them.

We've looked at the story map and I've had a go at telling the story and you've listened to that and chosen your favourite moment.

So the next challenge in the next lesson is to find other ways of telling a story.

I think we'll sing it.

And then we'll step it out with actions.

Until then show your pictures to people and tell them about your favourite moments and keep on telling stories.

And we look forward to seeing you in the next session soon until then.

Bye bye.
