It is with me, Ms. Vali and our friend's, Rosie Billy, Maximus and Percy.

In today's lesson you will need good looking eyes, listening ears, your favourite teddy that you could talk to, a big piece of card or paper and some coloured pencils.

Pause the video and find your items. Come back soon.

In today's session we will first listen to a story.

Then we will answer some questions.

Finally, we will get creative.

Story time.

Once upon a time, there were many frogs that all lived in a pond together.

And surrounding the pond were beautiful flowers blooming and bursting with colour.

The wonderful scenery and cooled water meant each year, more and more frogs would join the pond.

Soon, it got overcrowded.

Frogs would bump into each other, hop over each other or deep into the pond.

And it became very unsafe.

The small frogs were getting hurt by the big frogs and they were getting scared to move about and enjoy the space they had.

Flowers surrounding the pond got trampled on and they all began to wilt and die.

One day, the King and Queen frog decided enough was enough and something had to be done.

They thought long and hard and came up with a brilliant idea.

In their kingdom, they had many lily pads to protect their home.

But the King and the Queen didn't need all that space.

The King and the Queen released all the lily pads from their kingdom and instructed all the frogs that to stay safe, everyone needed to have their own lily pad on which they could sit comfortably and have enough space for each other.

The frogs got together all excited for a new way of life in the pond.

They all cued up to choose their lily pads and stumped their feet on it to mark it as their own.

Slowly each frog hopped away with their lily pad and found space in the water to set a space for themselves.

Now they were no longer bumping into each other.

Very soon, all the frogs had their own lily pad and the pond looked wonderful.

All the frogs had their own space to stay safe.

They no longer bumped into each other.

No one felt squeezed, too squashed.

They all had lots of space to swim, play and best of all, the flowers began to bloom once again.

Question time.

Lets get creative.

Soon, you will all be going back to school too.

So will Rosie and her friends.

And they're really looking forward to being together again.

But in our new world, we need to be mindful, which means think about how close we can get to each other.

Thinking back to our story, what did the frogs use to sit on to keep safe? That's right.

A lily pad.

I wonder if we can create a lily pad for each of them to use so they can stay safe in school.

You could do it for yourself too.

To do this you will need a large sheet of paper.

And I'd like you to start at the top of the page.

Begin by drawing a curvy line all the way around your sheet of paper and join it up at the end.

You could turn it into a lily pad by adding some lines to it like this.

Pause the video and have a go.

You can decorate your lily pad by maybe adding some flowers to it.

Or make it spotty.

How about some leaves? Or turn it into a web spot.

Here are some examples of some safety spots that me and some children have created.

This is a cloud some with some colourful spots on.

This one has got some beautiful patterns on.

And this one is from the theme of our story.

When you go back to school, you can use them to stay safe.

We can all be on separate lily pads in the same pond.

As the story told us, we can all be together so long as we keep our distance.

I hope you enjoyed our session.

Stay safe.
