In this unit, pupils learnt to write descriptive sentences about characters. In 'Paddington', pupils will build on this by joining two simple ideas together using 'and'.

In 'Anna Hibiscus', pupils were introduced to expanded noun phrases to describe characters and settings. In this unit, pupils will build on this as well as use commas in a list.
