A want is to have a desire or a wish for something. Sometimes the thing you wish to have is called a want.

In the previous unit, pupils have had the opportunity to explore the value of different coins and use strategies to calculate the value of a set of coins up to 20 p. In this unit they will apply this learning in new contexts and consider what the value of money means.
