Migration in medieval England

History

This unit will allow students to understand how English identity developed in the Medieval era which informs their understanding of how these norms were imposed during the expansion of empire. This unit will understand how networks of trade and commerce operated, giving them an understanding of the influence on the economy of empire. 

Pupils will have some understanding of the Danish Conquest from their study of the Norman unit.
