Understanding the artefacts of the Renaissance

History

Pupils will continue to study the power of new ideas when they consider the English Reformation and the impact of the Enlightenment (Y8).

Pupils will already have an understanding of the role of the Church in medieval society. They will also have a prior understanding of the architecture of medieval towns and villages, which will enable them to chart the impact of the Renaissance on Early Modern England.
