The English Reformation in its European context

History

Pupils will need to understand some basic theological differences in order to appreicate the later rivalry between Protestants and Catholics. This will be relevant to their future studies of Elizabeth I and the Glorious Revolution (Y8).

Pupils will have built a strong understanding of the power and importance of the medieval Church over the course of the Y7 curriculum.
