Common misconception
There is not much I can do to prepare for the listening exam.
You can prepare for the listening exam by revising vocabulary and being ready to listen out for synoynms and distractors.
Teacher tip
When completing the listening comprehension tasks, make sure students listen to the whole audio before writing their answers. This will help them to avoid falling into traps set by distractors. You could encourage them to put their pens on the desk during the first play to make sure of this.
