Loom - a frame or machine used to weave fabric by holding threads tight while others are woven through.
Common misconception
Plastic bags cannot be used in weaving because they are too soft.
Nearly all materials can be used to weave with as long as they are cut correctly so that they can fit into the loom.
Teacher tip
Materials should be cut into neat long strips before weaving. It is good to prpare all of the materials before the weaving starts.
