  • In this lesson, we will we be learning about the right to education. We will be investigating how children in Nigeria experience barriers to their right to education, and how the Covid-19 pandemic has created challenges to children in the UK to access their right to education.

  • In this lesson, we will explore what individuals can do to protect the rights of others. During the lesson we will have the opportunity to take part in active citizenship and campaign for our right to education.

  • In this lesson, we will investigate Article 24 of the UNCRC: the right to healthcare. We will then look at what Article 24 of the UNCRC means for children living in the UK and elsewhere. We will go on to analyse the role that wealthy countries have in supporting poorer countries with healthcare.

We will also explore what accurate and reliable information means and why it is important for young people to access news that is produced with them in mind.
