- Considering an event in the story from a character's point of view helps us to understand the plot of the story better.

Common misconception
Pupils may struggle to generate their own vocabulary or understand the vocabulary given to them.
In LC2, look at the children's expression when they are freeze framing. Then, put the description into a sentence e.g. 'You look terrified.'. The children mirror the facial expression and tone from you and then repeat the sentence.
