Oliver Twist: Oliver is Caught

In this lesson, we will read and explore how Oliver is arrested for a crime that he has not committed. We will reflect on Oliver's naivety in the novel so far and introdcue the character Mr Brownlow.

In this lesson, we will learn what foreshadowing is and explore how Oliver's sad birth is an example of foreshadowing. We wil also see how Oliver recovers from a sickness at Mr Brownlow's house and examines a painting of a strangely familiar woman.

In this lesson, we will learn about Bill Sikes and Nancy. We will see how Fagin used Bill and Nancy to help him kidnap Oliver.
