I can use a range of place and movement prepositions to talk about the history of the Concorde.

Key learning points
- [tion] is pronounced as in 'attention'. [on] is pronounced as in 'non'.
- The Concorde was a project between France and the UK after the 2nd world war to build supersonic planes.
- Prepositions of place tell us where things are in relation to other things. Some like 'loin' need 'de' before the noun.
- Say French years the same as normal numbers, not split like in English. There is no –s after mille/cent in years.
- Prepositions of movement are used to translate ‘to’ and ‘from’; 'à' and 'de' can change before the definite article.
