  1. Possessive adjectives have different forms based on the gender and number of the possessed noun.
  2. 'Mon', 'ma', 'mes' and 'ton', 'ta', 'tes' are possessive adjectives meaning 'my' and 'your' in French.
  3. 'Son', 'sa' and 'ses' are possessive adjectives meaning 'his/her' in French.
  4. 'Notre', 'nos' and 'votre', 'vos' are possessive adjectives meaning 'our' and 'your (plural or formal)' in French.
  5. 'Leur' and 'leurs' mean 'they'. Like 'notre' and 'votre', 'leur' does not change based on the gender of the noun.
