Water, Weather and Climate

In today's lesson, we will be learning about the water on planet Earth and where it is stored. We will also be learning about the Water Cycle.

In this lesson, we will be looking at the differences between weather and climate. We will also be looking at the six components that make up the weather.

In this lesson, we will be learning about why it rains. We will also be learning about the three different types of rainfall (convectional, frontal and orographic).

In this lesson, we will be learning about the five main air masses that affect the weather in the United Kingdom.

In this lesson, we will be learning about why we have the four different seasons in the UK: winter, spring , summer and autumn. Whilst doing this, we will be learning more about the Sun and planet Earth!

In this lesson, we will learning about the atmosphere and how it is important for life on Earth. We will also be looking at how the climate has changed over time and how it continues to change. We will be mainly focusing on the impact of human activity on the climate.
