I can describe different types of fishing and explain why fish stocks are reducing.

  2. Longlining and trap fishing are more sustainable fishing methods.
  3. Fish farming, or aquaculture, is the controlled breeding and harvesting of fish in enclosures.
  4. In 2018 nearly 90% of the world’s marine (sea) fish stocks were fully exploited, overexploited or depleted.
  5. Overfishing, bycatch and marine habitat damage are some of the concerns associated with fishing.
