How and why do we celebrate Remembrance Day?

In this lesson, we will learn about World War I and World War II. We will learn what 'commemorate' means and will learn about how we remember those who lost their lives in World War I and II. We will learn what Remembrance Day is and when it is celebrated.

In this lesson, we will learn how Remembrance Day is celebrated in the UK. We will learn about Remembrance Sunday and you'll hear about some of the traditions that exist to commemorate those who lost their lives in the World Wars.

In this lesson, we will learn how other countries around the world commemorate those who died in the World Wars. We will learn about the commemoration days of the USA, France, New Zealand and Australia, Germany and Japan.
