Common misconception
A live performance will always be exactly the same.
Live performances, especially of an improvisation will alter very slightly between each concert.
Teacher tip
Rehearsing the film score will allow pupils to improve on aspects of their performance. It is very useful to allow pupils to view a recording of their work and self evaluate their performance. Record the scores the pupils will perform at the end of this lesson to use in the next lesson.
