Common misconception
Pathways are only along the floor.
Pathways can be along the floor or in the air. They can also be called floor patterns and air patterns.
Teacher tip
Introducing slow movements first will establish working safely and with accuracy and control. Keeping the fast actions on the spot will reduce risk of collisions.
