I can communicate well with others and show trust in order to become a successful team member.

      Key learning points

      1. Move: moving quickly across the space will help our team to win the challenges.
      2. Think: knowing how to communicate clearly will help us develop trust and complete the challenges successfully.
      3. Think: thinking carefully about our team's tactics and strategies will help us to win the challenges.
      4. Feel: following the rules shows you are playing honestly.
      5. Connect: communicating clearly and trusting each other demonstrates gratitude when you are working with others.

      Keywords

      • Trust - being able to rely on others

      • Communicating - sharing ideas, thoughts or feelings with others

      • Tactics - a carefully planned set of actions that are used by a team or an individual to achieve a certain goal

      Common misconception

Some pupils may only think about speaking in relation to communication.

Information can be communicated in lots of different ways including signals, gestures, sounds, pictures and words. Receiving, interpreting and acting on the information sent is also half the process of communication.
