Key learning points

  2. Think: creating and applying simple strategies to challenges will help our team to improve.
  3. Think: deciding when to use certain strategies will support the team to successfully complete the challenges.
  4. Feel: being honest and following the rules within challenges helps us to take responsibility and be a good team member.
  5. Connect: including everyone in our team and taking responsibility for each other shows a deep sense of gratitude.

Keywords

  • Strategy - a plan for achieving success

  • Improve - to make something better

  • Challenge - a test of ability or skill

Common misconception

Some pupils might think that if a strategy doesn't work, they shouldn't use it again.

Deciding when to use a strategy is part of the challenge. A strategy that works once will not work every time or against every opponent. Having lots of strategies to try will help you find the one that works best each time.
