Key learning points

  1. Move: moving and dodging into space and reacting quickly to commands will help us complete the challenges effectively.
  2. Think: working effectively as a team means including all team members when making decisions and solving problems.
  3. Think: when working with others, it is important to listen to other team members when trying to complete challenges.
  4. Feel: sharing ideas and speaking in a group demonstrates courage.
  5. Connect: sharing ideas and working as a team when completing challenges shows we are grateful for our teammates.

Keywords

  • Team - a group of people who work together to reach a goal

  • Including - not leaving anyone or anything out

  • Challenge - a test of ability or skill

Common misconception

Some pupils might think they have to rely on others to include them and that there isn't anything they can or need to do in order to be included.

There are things that you can do to increase your involvement in a challenge and play a role in a team such as sharing ideas and supporting and encouraging others.
