Challenge - a test of ability or skill
Common misconception
Some pupils might think they have to rely on others to include them and that there isn't anything they can or need to do in order to be included.
There are things that you can do to increase your involvement in a challenge and play a role in a team such as sharing ideas and supporting and encouraging others.
Teacher tip
Including time for reflection and discussion throughout the lesson can be helpful and provides time to discuss some shared ideas for ways the class can be successful. The 'Making faces' practice in cycle 3 can include a wide range of equipment, depending on what you have available in your school.
