- Move: pushing the kin-ball in unison will increase the velocity and accuracy of the shot.
- Move: quickly moving from set, to following the kin-ball after the hit, aids positioning for the next phase of play.
- Think: using an extended hit stretches the defenders and increases the chances of scoring a winning point.
- Feel: working to achieve a common goal builds connections and strengthens relationships.
- Connect: ensuring all players are active in attack builds teamwork and collective responsibility.

Common misconception
Pupils find it difficult to get into an effective defensive position.
A quick transition out of a set position will reduce the chance of this occuring.
