      I can describe different ways that Muslims pray.

      Key learning points

      1. Praying five times a day is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, this is called salat.
      2. Prayer can take place at home or in the mosque.
      3. Muslims get ready for salat prayer by performing ritual washing, called wudu.
      4. A special call to prayer called the adhan helps Muslims know when they should be praying.
      5. There are special prayers on a Friday called Jummah prayers.
