I can describe different types of support and explain how to help other people who are struggling.

Common misconception

Children should help solve big problems for other people, including their parents or carers.

It is not the child's responsilbity to help fix big problems for other people. Children should speak to a trusted adult if someone else is struggling, including adults at home.
