Respectful relationships: Respect and friendship

In this lesson, we will learn about what a healthy friendship looks like and typical behaviours to expect in a respectful relationship. We will also be able to understand what to do if a friendship or relationship causes unhappiness.

In this lesson we will understand the importance of freedom of speech as well as the harms of 'Cancel Culture'. We will also discuss the harms associated with censorship and 'no platforming'.

In this lesson, we will learn about respecting the privacy of others as well as boundaries (physical and otherwise). We will also discuss giving and withdrawing consent.

In this lesson, we will learn about how conflict and disagreement within friendships/relationships can be resolved and the benefits of successfully resolving conflict.

In this lesson, we will learn about why and how a friendship might end and how to maturely respond to these situations. We will also look at the damaging nature of trying to maintain an unwanted friendship/relationship.
