Common misconception

Children may think that all trees look the same.

Examples of different types of trees with differing features.

Provide children with magnifying glasses or viewers to help them to observe carefully and notice lots of detail. Laminating leaves can be an effective way to preserve them and prevent them from damage when being handled by children.
