Apparatus - Apparatus is a piece of equipment that is designed for a particular use.
Mass - Mass is the amount of matter in an object, usually measured in grams.
Volume - Volume is how much 3D space a material occupies. It is usually measured in cm³.
Common misconception
Pupils tend to misidentify similar looking apparatus.
Focus on the uses of each apparatus, highlight its distinguishing features to help pupils correctly identify apparatus.
