- The singular persons of hacer are hago, haces and hace. Hacer has multiple meanings - to do, to make, to go.
- The singular persons of jugar are juego, juegas and juega. Jugar is followed by al before a masculine singular noun.
- Use 'jugar' with a game or ball sport and 'hacer' for other activities or non-ball sports. They are not interchangeable.
- Use 'cuando' + es + season or 'cuando' + 'hace' + weather to extend your sentences.

'Jugar' and 'hacer' are interchangeable as they often are in English - I play football, I do football.
