Key learning points
- The SSC [que] is pronounced as in the word '¿por qué?' and [qui] as in the word 'equipo'.
- Guessing the meaning is not a reliable strategy for most Spanish words.

- Both dictionaries give us the word class using abbreviations - often in italics and sometimes in a different colour.
