- To refer to 'you (singular)' simple present -er verbs, use the verb ending -es, and for 'you (plural)' use -éis.
- The modal verbs 'querer', 'poder', 'deber' and 'soler' are often followed by an infinitive.
- To refer to 'you (singular)' with simple present -ir verbs, use the verb ending -es, and for 'you (plural)' use -ís.
- To say 'your' for two or more people, use 'vuestros' + masculine nouns and 'vuestras' + feminine nouns.

Common misconception
The plural 'you' form is the same for both -er and -ir verbs.
To talk to more than one person ('you all') using -er verbs in the present tense, use the ending -éis, e.g. 'comprendéis' - 'you all understand'. For -ir verbs, use the ending -ís, e.g. 'escribís' - 'you all write'.
