      The letter 'r' is always pronounced the same in Spanish.

      In Spanish, 'r' is pronounced differently depending on its position within a word. 'r' in the middle or at the end of a word is pronounced as in 'pero', whereas 'r' at the beginning of a word and 'rr' are pronounced as in 'perro'.
