Common misconception
To say 'when I am older I will work in a hospital', say 'cuando soy mayor trabajaré en un hospital'.
To say 'when I am older I will work in a hospital', say 'cuando sea mayor trabajaré en un hospital'. After 'cuando', use the subjunctive to talk about an event that hasn't yet happened.
