Key learning points

  1. Many of the most commonly-used Spanish verbs are irregular, e.g. 'ser', 'estar', 'tener', 'hacer', 'venir', 'dar', 'ir'.
  2. The verb 'dar' can be used to describe how something makes people feel. English uses 'to be' + adjective for this.
  3. Indirect object pronouns ('me', 'te', 'le') are used with 'dar' + noun to say how something makes you and others feel.

Common misconception
