This unit introduces drawing techniques for different purposes to develop pupils’ imaginative and design thinking skills. Elements of technical drawing, expressive drawing and printing will be introduced and pupils will think about the topic of sustainability.

Our spaces: drawing and printing
A diverse range of approaches will be used in this unit to investigate houses in both an artistic and an architectural style. Drawing and printing techniques will be explored before pupils investigate how architects design environmentally friendly houses or flats, then design their own eco-home.
