This unit develops observational studies into sculpture. They will develop their ability to select and assemble materials, revisiting themes of upcycling that they explored in key stage one.
Prior knowledge requirements
- Appropriate level of fine motor skills needed to manipulate materials to intentions
- Experience of using skill & control when using art materials to apply basic tones and shades tones
- Prior experience of investigating & analysing artists work to formulate personal opinions
- Ability to express thoughts & ideas on topical subjects through sketches & written notes
