- We need to have 6-8 drinks a day. Water is a good choice.
- Meals should include 3-4 of the main food groups and a drink.

Common misconception
Pupils may think that potatoes count as a vegetable.
In the Eatwell Guide, potatoes do not count as a vegetable. They are in the 'Potatoes, bread, pasta and rice' group.
