- An appearance is what someone or something looks like, in this case what the houses looks like.
- When you use two adjectives to describe a noun, you need to separate them with a comma.
- Two ideas can be joined together using 'and' to form one sentence.
- In a compound sentence, each idea must make complete sense.

Pupils may be unable to spell some of the adjectives you generate to describe the houses.
As you are generating, create a class word bank for the adjectives. This will help pupils to recall them when they are writing and help to spell them correctly.
